Module 1: Business Desktop Deployment
In this module, students will learn about the usage and purpose of the Microsoft Solution Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) Standard Edition, the Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) model and how it relates to BDD, and the components of BDD Standard Edition.

Module 2: Identifying and Resolving Application Compatibility Issues
In this module, students will learn how to identify and prioritize the applications in use throughout an organization, plan an application compatibility testing strategy, identify and resolve application compatibility issues, develop and test solutions, and package them for deployment.

Module 3: Migrating User Documents and Settings
In this module, students will learn about the user state migration process, how to plan user state migration, how to migrate user documents and settings by using the User State Migration Tool (USMT), and how to customize USMT control files and integrate those control files into a BDD disk image.

Module 4: Configuring Security
In this module, students will learn how to configure security on a BDD disk image. This module does not treat security comprehensively, as it only addresses issues specific to the disk image. However, this module briefly describes other tools and technologies that Microsoft provides for securing the desktop.

Module 5: Packaging Core Applications and Office 2003
In this module, students will learn how to prepare and customize core applications, including Office 2003, for deployment as part of a BDD disk image.

Module 6: Packaging Supplemental Applications
In this module, students will learn how to package supplemental applications for installation after disk-image deployment. Methods include scripting and repackaging.

Module 7: Computer Imaging System Basics
In this module, students will learn how to plan a basic disk image, install and configure the Computer Imaging System, create a basic disk image, and capture a basic disk image to an image file.

Module 8: Customizing a Disk Image
In this module, students will learn how to plan a custom disk image, customize Windows PE, add custom actions to a build, brand a disk image, and add deliverables from other teams to the image.

Module 9: Deploying Disk Images
In this module, students will learn how to plan disk image deployment, install and configure the deployment servers, and run the Deployment wizard at each desktop computer to deploy a disk image.
