Objectives This masterclass focuses on the integration of knowledge and mutual understanding between SAP consultants and architects. The theory is interlaced with field experience and is centered around a case, in which all attendants will actively participate. Prerequisites The masterclass is aimed at: experienced SAP functional and non-functional consultants who have an interest in SAP’s Enterprise SOA experienced architects who have an interest in integrated package based service oriented architecture and specifically SAP experienced consultants with other expertise (e.g. custom development) who have an interest in integrated package based service oriented architectures, architecture methods, and more specifically the SAP platform and how it supports services oriented architecture The participant should have attended the courses IAF Essentials and SAP NetWeaver - Awareness Overview or at least have the knowledge of the content of these courses. Content Using the architecture approach of a Togaf integrated package based extension enriched with IAF, a service oriented architecture is realized on a SAP enterprise SOA platform. The SAP enterprise architecture framework (SEAF) will be introduced too. By means of a case the participants are encouraged to come up with a realistic and pragmatic illustration of a SAP enterprise SOA landscape. The course is available in English and Dutch.
